MCHOSE K99 is a versatile three-mode mechanical keyboard with a compact 98% arrangement. The keyboard uses a gasket-mounted structure design with six-layered internal padding for comfortable typing feedback. It comes with an Anode/PVD mirror counterweight. MCHOSE K99 has PVD Mirror/anodized optional counterweights. The PVD Mirror has an exclusive mirror finish with the brand logo. The anodized metallic counterweight has a solid matte texture. 

Comfortable Gasket Structure Design
MCHOSE K99 features a comfortable soft-elastic gasket structure design. It has six layers of sound-absorbing filling including PO Sandwich cotton, IXPE undershaft padding, PET Silicone padding, and more. The keyboard promises a comfortable typing experience with its gasket structural design.

Consistent Typing Feedback
MCHOSE K99 mechanical keyboard offers consistent typing feedback with its single-key slotted PCB board. The FR4 material positioning board features single-key slotting ensuring comfortable and consistent performance.

Dual-Tone Injection-Molded PBT Keycaps
MCHOSE K99 mechanical keyboard features dual-tone injection molded keycaps. They are available in the MDA profile or OEM height profile. The OEM profile is there with the side-engraved keycaps and the MDA profile has rounded corners.

MCHOSE K99 offers a unique surround RGB light strip. There is a colorful RGB light strip that runs across the side of the chassis. It glows bright and offers excellent aesthetics. The Keyboard also has 16.8 million color RGB backlight with lower side LEDs for a bright and vivid experience.

Couldn’t be happier

I was on the hunt for a new mechanical keyboard, but was disappointed to see that most manufacturers had moved on from the standard layout. I love a numpad, but it seems they dont like to include one. Even when they do, other manufacturers like to remove the home and end keys in place for the delete and stupid “smart knob”. So when I saw MChose’s offerings, I was settled. Until I saw on their website that the K99 was preorder. I then stumbled across WhatGeeks site, and was dubious about ordering, but a previous review made me go for it. Mine arrived in just under 2 weeks from the order date, so a little longer. I also went for the black. It looks fantastic! Feels very weighty, and I couldn’t be happier!
My tracking was through a company called YunExpress. Seemed to work well, a little slow to update, but defo kept me happy whilst waiting. It does ship from China, but if you can be patient, it’s well worth the wait

Great first mechanical keyboard

The keyboard itself is brilliant, I went for the black gradient and the keyboard has a nice sturdy weight to it. I purchased the keyboard with priority shipping on 01/06/24 and it arrived on 11/06/24. The only downside I can think of if you were to be picky is you do not have the option of software (to my knowledge) to set the keyboard to one specific colour and it only has presets. Which are nice and there’s one that changes through colours one at a time, but I thought it would have been a great addition. I have only used the keyboard as wired so I could not say how good the Bluetooth or wireless is. Switches I have kept standard for now, it’s quiet with the light presses and a soft thud sound when pressed with more pressure. I would recommend for anyone wanting a keyboard with the numpad still there.
