It accepts a high wattage of solar input , more than most at this price pioint
This product will fit in my cabin of a commercial fishing boat. It can be recharged while trolling for salmon and should save me an extra hour of sleep every night while on anchor by avoiding running a generator and cooking that evening’s dinner prior to arriving at the anchorage. The after sales department answers questions and requests rapidly in a very supportive manner. Very pleased.
I am very pleased with the P210's features and capabilities, especially for the price.
Although this power station weighs about 50 Lb. comfortable built-in handles make it easy to move. There is a handy compartment on top for small items. It included a fabric cover and a small zipper bag for accessories, including a pigtail to connect MC4 solar panel cables to the P210's XT90 port.
I use it at a small off-grid cabin, mainly for lights (LED) and a shallow-well pump. The P210 will run every light in the place for about 10 hours. The P210 displays are impressive, the controls are simple, and there are ample AC and DC power outlets .
I have been using a 2KW inverter gas generator at that cabin but the P210 is so cool (silent and easy) that I ordered four 100 watt solar panels to keep the P219 "topped up" between visits. Two solar panels in series provides the right voltage and the other pair (in parallel with first pair) is very close to the P210's charging limit, how convenient. Also, I can easily carry the P210 to the house to charge with commercial power, if needed.
At this point I can say I am more than pleased with the features and performance of the P210. I've had it for less than a week so I can't comment on reliability or battery life but I have no reason for concern. Along those lines, mine came with a free offer to extend the warranty from 2 to 7 years by registering the purchase. I don't know if that is available to everyone or for how long. But it certainly inspires confidence.
